Life is valuable, worthy and beautiful. Despite all hardships and adversities one faces in life, one still considers life invaluable. A man lives only once and death, for sure, has to come. Anyone can die at any age and, there are a number of factors leading to expirations, such as life-threatening diseases. The worst kind of death, as stated by wise people, is the one that comes in the most unexpected ways. It can be any accident, any sudden medical condition such as brain haemorrhage or cardiac arrest or even any fun-doing activity. One such example of this fun activity is "kite flying".

Kite flying has been amongst the most favorite activities of children. Not just liked by kids but by many youngsters as well, kites soaring has always been done by its admirers. However, due to its potential fatal risks, it is highly discouraged by adults. People all over the world, including all elderly, despite their gender, condemn this activity which is a source of infatuation among children.

This activity, albeit brings fun, but is much more hazardous than can be even thought. The kite string alone can kill people. The kites, even if flown slowly, have the potential of causing serious injuries, bruises or cuts to the people it hits. There have also been many deaths due to falling from heights while flying kites, deaths by cuts due to kites strings etc, which, consequently led to the banning of kites soaring in many countries like Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Iran and many more.

But, despite restrictions, children find ways to fly them.

"A hazard can not be stopped if called willingly".

One such hazard has led to a tragic incident in Faisalabad recently, where a man has lost his life. This heart wrenching incident took place a few days ago where a man was passing by a road on his motorcycle, completely oblivious of the fact that what is waiting for him on the road, absolutely unaware of the idea that what is he going to face, and certainly, inconspicuous of even the thought that he will no longer be in this world, a world where all his nears and dears, kiths and kins, family and friends and all others live.

The victim, as claimed by the family, was going to Jhang Bazar. On the way, his throat was split by the string of one of the many kites. The cut was deep enough that it took a span of minutes to take down his life. Such a fatal outcome of just a string. A young lad lost his life. This monstrous activity took another precious life of a devoted young man. Comeuppance of flying kites is extremely serious, and in most cases, absolutely unwanted. Life of every being on this world is exquisite, priceless and dear. Such loathful accidents are costly and extremely costly when it comes to the life of a person, the death of a person.

The government is trying at every level to implement the laws severely, especially of the "kite flying is banned" rules and regulations. As of the miserable accident, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mrs. Maryam Safdar has taken serious actions. She has given the deadline of 48 hours to all the authoritative, police and administrations of the district to call-into-action all the culprits who were involved in breaching the law that had led to the accident.

The world is mortal, but that, by no means, should mean that one can take anyone's life for sake. We all are wise people, sensible, sane and rational. We must call out our rationalism and sanity before attempting any act that could lead to such fatal and mortal outcomes. We are all living beings in this world, who have built relations with many people, not just by blood but by hearts as well. Death tears apart all these beautiful relations, leaving our admirers in perpetual agonies and permanent woes. No one can fulfil the place of a lost loved one.

We must consider the fact seriously that if a particular thing has been banned, it is banned for reasons. Let's just promise ourselves to not delve into any such law-breaking activity which is embedded with blood, the blood of our own loved ones and the loved ones of all others. Let's just have a solemn vow of not doing any act that had, may have or will have potential fatal outcomes. Let's keep a promise to never break the promise we are committing at present. Life is precious, handle it beautifully!

"SAY NO TO KITES SOARING!"
